A lost has happened since we've been away but the most exciting thing was Barack Obama becoming America's first black president. That was worthy of some huge celebrations even here in the UK.
The vibes coming from black people I met in the street could almost be touched; it was that thick with possibilities.
Obama said "If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy - tonight is your answer."
Well it wasn’t long before people started campaigning for change in their own way as the image below demonstrates. This is just one of many to be found on the net. What do you think?
