Drake has a dream to play Obama in a movie

Drake has told reporters that he reckons he’d make a brilliant Obama.

Having started out as an actor in Canadian high school drama ‘Degrassi: the Next Generation’, it seems that Drake wants to get his thespian on again, but only for a very special somebody.

“I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him,”Drake told VH1 news at the Sundance Film Festival. “That’s the goal. I watch all the addresses. Anytime I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel, I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions.”

The rapper/actor star went on to explain that most of his acting offers right now are for rapper or basketball player roles, but he’d rather play an icon.

“I’ve been reading scripts for a while, I want to do something great,”he said “I want to do something for my culture: the younger people who are still in tune with everything going on. I’m actually writing (scripts) with my friends right now,”
