It’s the day when loved up couples express their feelings with gifts and single folks pray not to be single by nightfall.

The history of Valentine’s Day–and the story of its patron saint–is shrouded in mystery. What is not mysterious though is how commercial Valentine’s day has become. A single rose that may have cost £3 last week will be double that on this special day.

Could this be why so many people are anti Valentine’s Day? Social media is abuzz with people hating on V-Day but stating that they are neither bitter or twisted. We believe you, honest.
