Winter is coming – Game of Thrones is back on Sky

Game of Thrones is an HBO adaptation of American author George R R Martin’s epic fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire. The show explores a medieval-like fantasy world with its plethora of characters all struggling in the only game that matters – the game of thrones. And in this game you either win or you die, there is no middle ground.

If you missed season one of Game of Thrones, you missed a lot. The series is exclusive to Sky Atlantic HD so it’s not accessible to terrestrial TV viewers. That’s a shame. If you are internet savvy then you will find ways to watch the show online.

For those of us who are up-to-date Sky have confirmed that they will premiere the eagerly anticipated second season of Game of Thrones in the UK just a day after the US on Sky Atlantic HD Monday 2 April at 9pm. And to make sure you never miss an episode they have compiled a list of all the ways you can watch the show.

I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it. With Spartacus ending this week, Game of Thrones couldn’t have come back at a better time. It’s nice to have at least one well written epic drama to watch each week. Don’t you think?
